ISLAMABAD, 16 June 2026 — Philippine Ambassador to Pakistan, H.E. Dr. Emmanuel R. Fernandez, accompanied by his spouse, Mme. Alicia Kalaw-Fernandez, attended the National Day Reception of Portugal held at the Serena Hotel on 16 June 2026.

The reception was hosted by H.E. Paulo Miguel Guedes Domingues, the newly appointed Ambassador of Portugal to Pakistan, and brought together senior government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, business leaders, and friends of Portugal to celebrate the Day of Portugal, Camões and the Portuguese Communities.

Ambassador Fernandez conveyed his warm congratulations to Ambassador Domingues and the people of Portugal on the occasion of their National Day. He also welcomed the opportunity to engage with members of the diplomatic community and reaffirm the Philippines’ commitment to constructive international cooperation and dialogue.
