ISLAMABAD, 05 May 2026 — Ambassador Emmanuel R. Fernandez attended a briefing for the diplomatic corps hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan on 5 May 2026.

The briefing was led by Pakistan Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, who discussed regional and international developments, including South Asian security, multilateral cooperation, and diplomatic efforts concerning peace and stability in the Middle East.

During the event, Ambassador Fernandez had a brief exchange of courtesies with Foreign Minister Dar.

The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Islamabad took note of Pakistan’s stated commitment to diplomacy, peaceful dispute settlement, and regional stability.

The Philippines continues to support peaceful dialogue, respect for international law, and the peaceful resolution of disputes.
