ISLAMABAD, 28 September 2026—Philippine Ambassador to Pakistan H.E. Dr. Emmanuel R. Fernandez, together with his spouse, Mme. Alicia Kalaw-Fernandez, attended the reception hosted by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Islamabad to celebrate Czech Statehood Day and Czech Armed Forces Day.

The reception was hosted by Czech Ambassador H.E. Ladislav Steinhübel and Mrs. Dagmar Steinhübelová, together with Colonel Stanislav Tesárek and Mrs. Tesárek, at the Serena Hotel Islamabad.

The occasion brought together members of the diplomatic corps, Pakistani government officials, and representatives of the international community in Islamabad to celebrate Czech national identity, history, and the service of the Czech Armed Forces.

Ambassador Fernandez conveyed his warm greetings to Ambassador Steinhübel and the Czech Embassy on the occasion, and reaffirmed the Philippines’ appreciation for the friendly relations and cooperation between the Philippines and the Czech Republic. END
