21 August 2026, Islamabad—H.E. Dr. Emmanuel R. Fernandez, Ambassador of the Philippines to Pakistan, accompanied by Mr. Shujaat Ali Umer, received Brig. Shamil Ahmad (R), Director (A&M), Capital Smart City, and Ms. Zainab Sabahat Ali for a courtesy call.

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on areas of mutual interest and explore potential avenues for strengthening engagement and cooperation between the Philippines and Pakistan.

Brig. Shamil Ahmad also extended a warm invitation to the Embassy staff to visit Capital Smart City and spend a day exploring its facilities and attractions. END
