ISLAMABAD, 9 March 2026—Philippine Ambassador to Pakistan, H.E. Dr. Emmanuel R. Fernandez, accompanied by his spouse Mme. Alicia Kalaw Fernandez, attended an Iftar dinner hosted by the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Health, Civil Administration & Police Committee, in collaboration with Maroof International Hospital, on Monday, 9 March 2026.

The event was held at the Senior Superintendent of Police’s Office Lawn, Diplomatic Enclave, Islamabad, and brought together members of the diplomatic corps, local government officials, and representatives from the business and healthcare sectors.

The gathering provided an opportunity for dialogue and fellowship during the holy month of Ramadan, fostering goodwill and mutual understanding among members of the diplomatic community and Pakistani stakeholders.

Ambassador Fernandez’s presence underscored the Philippines’ commitment to strengthening its partnership with Pakistan and expanding avenues for cooperation, particularly in areas of public service, healthcare, and people-to-people engagement.

The Ambassador’s participation in such events also contributes to further deepening the cordial and longstanding relations between the Philippines and Pakistan, while promoting cultural understanding and diplomatic engagement during Ramadan.
