ISLAMABAD, 23 February 2026–Philippine Ambassador to Pakistan, H.E. Dr. Emmanuel R. Fernandez, together with his spouse Mme. Alicia Kalaw Fernandez, graced the 42nd National Day Reception of Brunei Darussalam hosted by H.E. Colonel (Ret) Pengiran Hj Kamal Bashah Pengiran Hj Ahmad, Ambassador of Brunei to Pakistan, at the Serena Hotel on 23 February 2026.

The reception was attended by members of the diplomatic corps, local government officials, and leaders from the business community, underscoring the strong and enduring ties between Brunei and Pakistan.

Ambassador Fernandez’s presence at the celebration reaffirmed the Philippines’ commitment to fostering closer relations with Brunei. The event provided an opportunity for meaningful exchanges with fellow diplomats and partners, further strengthening the Philippines’ diplomatic and cooperative engagement with Brunei across various areas of mutual interest.
