ISLAMABAD, 11 December 2025 – The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Islamabad welcomed participants of the 6th International Young Diplomats School (IYDS) for an interactive briefing and engagement session held at the Embassy chancery.
The IYDS, organized by the Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies (IPDS), gathers emerging young leaders from across Pakistan, including students, researchers, journalists, and early-career professionals with a demonstrated interest in diplomacy, foreign policy, and international affairs.
During the visit, participants received an overview of the work of the Philippine Embassy in Islamabad, the Philippines’ commitment to regional cooperation, and the long-standing friendship between the Philippines and Pakistan as both countries mark 75 years of diplomatic relations. The session also provided an opportunity for open dialogue and exchange with Embassy officers on the evolving landscape of diplomacy and the importance of cross-cultural engagement.
The Embassy expressed its appreciation to IPDS for fostering platforms that bring youth into meaningful conversation with the diplomatic community and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that deepen mutual understanding between the Philippines and Pakistan. END
